I’m the Chief Marketing Officer at Mary Kay Inc.

I’ve been at Mary Kay for more than 25 years, and was blessed to have worked alongside Mary Kay Ash for more than 10 of those years.  Boy, did she ever teach me a lot!

I grew up in the Dallas, Texas area, married my high school sweetheart, Van, and we’ve raised a son and daughter.  Today, Van and I live on a small farm where we raise registered Dexter cattle, fruits and vegetables, and enjoy trail riding with our horses.

In addition to those personal joys, I find great satisfaction in helping other women develop their leadership strengths and potential, creating solutions to complex problems, learning new things and continuing to discover my authentic self.

Given more free time, I would take up sewing (again), exercise more, and encourage more women to become actively involved in politics (myself included).

By interacting with elected officials, I help ensure the marketplace is as conducive as possible for Mary Kay Inc. and its independent sales force to thrive.  I have the honor of helping women through supporting The Mary Kay Foundation, and strongly believe we must build a culture of zero tolerance of violence against women.

I am a Texas native and love spending time outdoors, and with my family and our two dogs, J. Crews and Mel Crews.
